Leighann Dudley

A key member of City of Edinburgh Pipe Band and the creative enterpreneur behind The Pipers of Edinburgh, Leighann is also the piper-in-residence at Abbeyhill Primary School. She established the school’s own Chanter Ensemble in 2015 and has been running it since.


In re-discovering her long-standing Polish connection in the family, Leighann joined the Polski project – a two-year long Polish artists-in-residence project at Abbeyhill Primary School. Here is Leighann with the Polski co-curator  Patrycja Godula of the Polish Contemporary Art Organisation but disguised as a Polonaise Dancer during the Polski project launch as part of the summery, fun-filled Carnival at Abbeyhill Primary School on 4th June 2016:
